Earlier today we learned that Slipkot would be touring the U.S. this summer via an announcement from Live Nation that included the band in their upcoming “Ticket to Rock” program, a promotion which offers fans the opportunity to snag tickets to multiple summer hard rock and metal tours at a discounted price.
The PRP is now reporting that Slipknot will be touring with Volbeat, Behemoth and Gojira. Although the site hasn’t revealed its source for the information, it also claims Korn, Alice In Chains and Underoath will tour together this summer, as will Breaking Benjamin and Chevelle. All three tours will be eligible for the “Ticket to Rock” program, as will additional Shinedown and Slayer tours in certain markets.
The cities and venues participating in the program are listed below, although dates have not been announced. This is not a comprehensive list of Slipknot tour dates, but a list of venues hosting the tour that are also participating in “Ticket to Rock.”
The three show packages start at just $59 and four show packages in select cities that include Shinedown or Slayer start at $69. Ticket packages are on sale now at LiveNation.com.
